  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Walden set an all-time area best in girls shot put when she uncorked a put of 45 feet, 11.5 inches in a three-team meet at Kokomo. She also won discus in the meet with a throw of 130-8. Later in the week, the Ball State recruit swept the throws and set meet records in Hamilton Heights' Big Orange Invitational. She won shot with an effort of 43-7 and won discus with a toss of 138-0.
