Everetts takes 6th in Midwest meet

DELAWARE, Ohio — Western track standout Josh Everetts competed in the Midwest Meet of Champions on Saturday at Ohio Wesleyan University.

The annual meet features many of the best seniors from Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

Everetts took sixth place in the 1,600-meter run, scoring one point for Indiana's boys team. Everetts posted a time of 4:20.74. Ohio's Matt Stump won with a time of 4:14.88.

Ohio won the boys team title with a score of 179. Michigan was second with 149 and Indiana was third with 147.
