Andrecus Eddington was a quadruple winner for the Kats. He won the 100 and 200 dashes and was on the winning 400 and 1,600 relays.

Jordan Nix ran on the winning 400 relay team, won the 300 hurdles and took first in long jump with a leap of 21-2. Rolando Tyler won the pole vault and was on the winning 400 relay team.

Josh Everetts took two firsts for Western. He won the 1,600 in 4:44.72 and won the 800 in 2213.4. Zach Shahan won the high jump with a leap of 6 feet. And Corey Hinkle rounded out the Panther winners when , he discus with a huge toss of 150 even.

Running against a couple NCC schools like Anderson and Kokomo, who are traditionally pretty good in track, it's good to know where you are at this stage of the season,” Western coach Gary Jewell said. Jewell pointed to a few performances that point to positives down the line.
