ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Hinkle won the South Bend St. Joseph Regional’s discus competition with a throw of 153 feet. He advances to the State Finals on Saturday at Bloomington. It will mark his second state appearance of the year — he took third place in the 182-pound weight class in the wrestling finals in February.
